"After polarising comments on this website I wasn't sure what to expect but was very happy with the facilities and service.
Apt had quality tasteful fixtures and fittings, and although there's no room service in the traditional sense, you can have food and drink delivered to your room direct from a selection of local restaurants and bottleshops through a service called "moving menus" which more than compensates.
I asked for a smoking room which was faciliated by my having a balcony (no smoking inside the rooms). Although the view wasn't great, I found this to be a great alternative to the usual stale-smelling smoking rooms of other hotels I've stayed at and was happy with the compromise.
My bathroom door opened directly onto the bed which I didn't mind, but which might be an issue if the people staying didn't have a comfortable familiarity with eachother.
I'd definitely stay again and would recommend the hotel to other business travellers or couples." - Lesley Walker
