"This was a wonderful place to stay. Just down the road from the central markets and three blocks from shops in Rundle Mall etc. A lovely old sandstone building refurbished trendily. Communal kitchens (but not the camp type ones) to share on each floor if you were planning a longer stay, Staff were helpful and went beyond the call of duty to support guests. Hotel Description:    Wakefield Residence has been built in a beautiful Heritage listed building and completely renovated. Wakefield Residence has 69 fully refurbished rooms, a large lounge area (containing a billiard table, large tv, leather lounges and vending machines), spacious guest kitchens on each floor and a guest laundry area. We are located next to the Hutt Street and Rundle Street restaurant and shopping precincts. Located in the heart of the CBD we are within walking distance to all of Adelaide's attractions, close to the picturesque Adelaide parklands and situated ideally for corporate and leisure guests.

Getting There: Wakefield Residence is located in Adelaide's CBD, between Frome Street and Hutt Street, and it takes approximately 20 minutes by taxi ($20-22) from the airport. When leaving the airport turn right onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive and go all the way to town. Stay on that road (which changes name to Grote Street then Wakefield Street) and you will find us.
Check-in Procedure: Check in is from 2pm and check out is 10am. Reception hours are 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm on weekends and public holidays. For check in outside of these times please contact Wakefield Residence and we will organise for someone to be there to assist you.
Car Parking: No onsite parking is available, street parking in front of the hotel is free between 6pm-8am Mon-Friday and no charge Sat-Sunday. There are car parks nearby who offer long term car parking at discounted rates.
Child Policy: No children are permitted unless they are travelling with one adult only and will use existing bedding in the room.
